Daily food service around your factory schedule

A factory canteen needs to work around production breaks and shift changes. Our factory service covers high-volume meals, shift coverage and practical menus. Tell us how your workforce is distributed across shifts so the service arrangement can be planned around the people who will use it.

The number of diners, length of meal breaks and available serving space are useful starting points for discussing the operation. Include both ordinary working days and any periods when demand changes.

02

What to agree before operations begin

  • Meal periods and coverage: serving times, operating days and shift requirements.
  • Menus and affordability: workforce preferences, menu rotation and pricing expectations.
  • Site arrangements: kitchen facilities, equipment, serving counters and dining space.
  • Staffing and responsibilities: location-specific staffing and the agreed operating scope.
  • Clean operations: hygiene expectations and how service feedback will be handled.
03

Capacity, staffing and setup

Better Canteen can handle organisations of up to 5,000 people. This is operating capacity, rather than a statement of the number served at any one client site. Staffing depends on the location and its service requirements.

Typical setup takes two weeks, subject to the condition of the site and agreed requirements. For an operator change, include the current contract end date and the date you need service to start. A site assessment helps establish a practical start date.

Requesting a factory canteen proposal

Share your factory location, expected diners per shift, serving times and existing facilities. The scope and commercial arrangement need to be assessed for your location; the website does not set a standard per-person price or minimum workforce size.
